Dr. Vance specializes in blood and marrow transplantation as well as hematology. He is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. He is also an expert in the field of oncology-related infections. Dr. Vance is affiliated with Texas Oncology-Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center Blood and Marrow Transplant, Texas Oncology-Medical City Dallas Blood and Marrow Transplant and Texas Oncology-Baylor Charles A Sammons Cancer Center.
During his educational career, Dr. Vance earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. He also completed his internship and residency at Johns Hopkins University.
Dr. Vance completed fellowships at Harvard Medical School, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Massachusetts, Brigham and Women's Hospital, and Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology. He was formerly a medicine instructor at Harvard School of Medicine and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute as well as an associate physician at Brigham & Women's Hospital.
