Dr. Vahbiz R. Jamadar Shroff Honored by Cambridge Who's Who

Dr. Vahbiz R. Jamadar-Shroff's passion for cancer research led her to become a research assistant of North Carolina State University, College of Veterinary Medicine

    RALEIGH, NC, August 30, 2010 /Cancer PR News/ -- Dr. Vahbiz R. Jamadar-Shroff, Research Assistant at North Carolina State University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education and molecular oncology research.

As a research assistant at North Carolina State University, Dr. Vahbiz R. Jamadar-Shroff is responsible for establishing protocols for projects and experiments, assisting in lymphoma research and tumor tests in the cancer diagnostic laboratory (headed by Dr. Steven Suter), preparing standardized testing procedures, performing follow up assay on canine bone marrow transplant patients, maintaining the laboratory, training the staff and students, managing inventory and researching new instruments to benefit the laboratory.

Dr. Jamadar-Shroff is also a reviewer for reputed scientific journals. She became involved in clinical research in order to study cancer therapeutics and she attributes her success to the right circumstances and people in her life.

Dr. Jamadar-Shroff received a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Mumbai in 2003. She was an honor student throughout her bachelor and master degree programs. In addition to her formal education, she is a certified nutrition specialist. Dr. Jamadar-Shroff has also been in the teaching profession for several years.
