BRONX, NY, November 23, 2008 /Cancer PR News/ -- Andre Charbonneau, Chaplain at Calvary Hospital, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of religious services.
A fluent speaker of five languages, Mr. Charbonneau excels in communicating with people and has worked at Calvary Hospital for the past five years. On a daily basis, he prays and works with terminally ill cancer patients and their families to help them deal with their emotional and spiritual pain. He became involved in his profession because of his personal experience of losing family members to cancer, and attributes his success to his compassion. Previously, he served as a Jesuit for 11 years and has 33 years of experience as a high school foreign languages teacher.
Licensed in theology through Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, Italy, Mr. Charbonneau received his Master of Philosophy degree from Boston College in 1963. He is affiliated with the National Association of Catholic Chaplains.
